With deep roots in the technology and trucking industries, our co-founders – Jonathan Salama and Drew McElroy – teamed up to form the first iteration of Transfix’s digital freight marketplace. Established in 2013, Transfix was the first tech-powered freight brokerage and quickly became an industry leader, with proprietary technology paired with a team of industry experts.  

For the first 10 years, Tranfix built the Transfix Intelligent Freight Platform™, a TMS with cutting-edge technology that utilizes automation and machine-learning to drive processing costs significantly below industry standards, helping to power the logistics networks of hundreds of leading retailers, consumer brands, manufacturers, and logistics companies. 

Today, Transfix delivers powerful software and data solutions to the transportation industry. By divesting its freight brokerage operation, Transfix entirely focuses on taking its technology to market as a SaaS and data solutions provider that addresses the distinct needs of brokers, shippers, and carriers.
