Delivering Aid to Truckers Across the Nation

Truck drivers are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re risking their health to deliver essential products to our local stores, preserving the limited normalcy remaining for most Americans.

Many of these heroes are having trouble accessing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) right now. In some cases, drivers are even being turned away from delivering essential goods because they lack PPE, costing them time, fuel and money. We need to do everything we can to help these drivers in need.

To help our nation’s truckers, Transfix is partnering with Truckers Emergency Assistance Responders (T.E.A.R.) 501(c)3 charity relief. On April, 22, T.E.A.R. began distributing PPE packages, which included Transfix-donated masks and dried goods donated by Stuckey’s in the hands of drivers at rest stops along I-15 in Nevada. Hand sanitizers will also be included in future packages. But this work is only just getting started, and drivers need more than what we already have on hand. If you can help by donating any of these items, please get in touch via email at transfixcares@transfix.io as soon as you can and we’ll make sure your supplies get into the hands of truck drivers who need them.

Let’s pull together and make sure America’s truckers have the PPE they need to stay healthy and keep goods moving. Thank you, and stay safe out there.
