Salama and other panelists at AWS
Last week, our co-founder and CTO Jonathan Salama gave a presentation at Amazon’s AWS Summit in New York.
AWS provides on-demand cloud services such as distributed computing processing capability. This means that powerful computing technology can be leveraged via AWS servers rather than on-site servers. The AWS Summit brings the cloud computing community together to connect, collaborate, and learn about AWS.
In Salama’s presentation, he explained some of the ways that Transfix has used AWS in developing its reliable and trusted forecasting models to achieve the speed, effectiveness and scalability that’s so important to Transfix. He also addressed ways that having Transfix’s homegrown command-line interface built on top of the AWS CLI has helped us promote individual impact. Salama shared that empowering the impact of individual team members has been part of Transfix’s formula for successful employee retention, even during “The Great Resignation.”
