Job Overview
As our technology continues to disrupt and transform the critical yet highly antiquated logistics industry, we are building the systems and processes that help our commercial team grow. That's why we are looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team. Reporting directly to our Vice President, Revenue, this role will keep our commercial engine running smoothly, from the first marketing touch to a signed customer.
As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you'll support every stage of the sales cycle, own the day-to-day maintenance of our CRM, and help our sales and marketing teams with the materials, data, and reporting they rely on. This is an entry-level role with plenty of room to grow. If you're organized, curious about how businesses win customers, and love making messy things tidy, please keep reading!
What You'll Do in this Role
Serve as the day-to-day reviewer of our CRM (HubSpot): manage users and permissions, create and maintain properties, pipelines, and views, and handle requests from the sales and marketing teams.
Keep our data clean and reliable by running regular audits, merging duplicates, importing lists, researching to fill blank spaces in our data and enforcing data entry standards.
Support the sales cycle from lead to close: route and assign new leads, prepare account research before calls, track deal progress, and help assemble proposals, quotes, and contracts.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give sales leadership a clear view of pipeline, activity, and results.
Partner with marketing to execute campaigns, including building email lists, setting up simple workflows and sequences, tracking event and conference leads, and measuring results.
Create and update sales materials such as one-pagers, pitch deck slides, case studies, and internal how-to guides.
Coordinate logistics for conferences and customer events, from registration and booth materials to post-event lead follow-up.
Support the Customer Success and Product Support teams with ad hoc requests and projects.
How You Know this Role is For You
You have 0-2 years of experience in sales operations, marketing operations, sales support, or a similar role. Internships, school projects, and roles outside these areas count too if you've done this kind of work.
You've used a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, or you're excited to learn one quickly. HubSpot certifications are a plus.
You're comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
You're detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right, whether it's a contact record, a report, or a slide.
You're highly organized and can juggle requests from several people, knowing what's urgent and when to ask a question.
You write clearly and concisely, and you can explain a process to someone who's in a hurry.
You have a good eye for presentation and have used tools like Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canva.
You’re AI fluent and are comfortable using tools like Claude and Gemini to scale your output.
You're curious about logistics, supply chain, or SaaS, and want to learn how a commercial team works from the inside.
You're a team player who enjoys helping others succeed and wants to grow your career in sales, marketing, or revenue operations.
